Command Sgt. Maj. Scott Wolfe

Command Sgt. Maj. Scott A. Wolfe is a native of Nacogdoches, Texas. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in October 1999, where he attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. His military occupation specialty was as an 11B Infantryman. His early assignments include 1/505 Parachute Infantry Regiment, Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and 1/22 Infantry Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas. 

Wolfe’s previous U.S. Army Recruiting Command assignments include Station Commander, Kansas City Recruiting Battalion; Station Commander, Houston Recruiting Battalion; SMU Recruiting Team Leader and Support and Direct Support Operations NCOIC, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; first sergeant, Houston West Recruiting Company and first sergeant, Houston South Recruiting Company, Houston Recruiting Battalion; Operations Sergeant Major, Phoenix Recruiting Battalion; Command Sergeant Major, Atlanta Recruiting Battalion; and Command Sergeant Major, 1st Recruiting Brigade, Fort Meade, Maryland.

Wolfe is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy-Class 69. He has completed all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Professional    Development System, His Military Education includes the First Sergeant’s Course, Army Recruiter Course, Station Commander Course, Recruiter Trainer Course, Master Resiliency Trainer Course, Executive Communications Course, Combat Skills Course and the Joint Special Operations Command Lean Six Sigma Certification Course. Wolfe graduated from The University of Texas at El Paso with a Master of Art in Leadership Studies.

His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with four oak leaf clusters, the Army Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the Valorous Unit Award, Army Superior Unit Award, Good Conduct Medal sixth award, Master Combat Badge, Combat Infantry Badge, Expert Infantry Badge, Parachutist Badge, Uruguayan Parachutist Badge, Dutch Parachutist Badge, Gold Recruiter Badge with three sapphires, the coveted Gold Recruiter Ring, he is a member of the Glenn E. Morrell Order of Recruiting Excellence and a recipient of the United States Army Recruiting Excellence Medallion.
