We’re thrilled to have you join our team. The Kansas City Recruiting Battalion covers a diverse and dynamic region, with seven recruiting companies operating across Kansas, Missouri, and Southern Illinois. From vibrant metropolitan hubs like Kansas City and St. Louis to thriving communities in Manhattan, Columbia, Springfield, and Cape Girardeau, there’s always something happening—and opportunities to make a real impact.
Kansas City offers an exceptional quality of life, with professional and college sports, an international airport, world-class attractions, and a vibrant food scene. It’s also proudly known as the home of the best barbecue and blues music on Earth. Meanwhile, St. Louis features iconic destinations like the 630-foot Gateway Arch, Forest Park’s 1,300 acres of historic beauty, and the excitement of NHL and Major League Baseball.
Our area also includes several Army installations such as Fort Leavenworth—just 25 miles northwest of Kansas City—along with Fort Riley, Kansas and Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. These locations offer all the resources and amenities you’d expect to support your mission and your family.
You’ll be assigned a sponsor who will serve as your go-to resource throughout your transition. You’ll also receive a welcome packet full of helpful information about your assignment and your new community. If you’re relocating with family, we encourage them to accompany you to the Battalion Headquarters at 10300 NW Prairie View Road, Kansas City, MO 64153.
