ABOUT US:

Headquartered in Denver, the battalion is one of the largest units within U.S. Army Recruiting Command, encompassing an area of more than 200,000 square miles. Overseeing operations across 39 recruiting centers located in Colorado; Nebraska; and parts of Wyoming, Denver Battalion’s primary mission is to discover and recruit the most qualified and eligible populations for service in the U.S. Army (active duty) and Army Reserve.

The responsibilities of the Denver Army Recruiting Battalion are many, but our primary reason for being is to recruit the highest quality individuals to meet the requirements of the U.S. Army and Army Reserve.

The Interservice Pistol Championships was hosted on Nov. 13-17, 2023, by the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit. The championships consisted of 9 shooting competitions- .22 Cal individual and team matches, Centerfire individual and team, .45 Cal individual and team, Service Pistol individual and team, and the Excellence In Competition and Directors match.
