Welcome to the Milwaukee Recruiting Battalion!  The Milwaukee Battalion serves as the headquarters for 39 recruiting stations overseen by: four Wisconsin-based recruiting companies (Milwaukee, Madison, Appleton and Fort McCoy), one Michigan-based recruiting company (Iron Mountain), and one Illinois-based recruiting company (Loves Park).

Sgt. 1st Class Noel Riosortiz, a native of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, serves as a medical Recruiter at the Gainesville Medical Recruiting Station in Gainesville, Florida. He was recently recognized by U.S. Army Recruiting Command leadership as one of the command’s standout performers.

Road to becoming an Army Ranger
The 5th Ranger Training Battalion hosts an open house April 26 2025, at Camp Frank D. Merrill in Dahlonega, Georgia. The event consisted of a mountaineering, hand-to-hand combat and reptile demonstration, as well as static displays and a Rangers in Action demonstration.
