Welcome to the Wolverine Battalion!
You
belong here!
The
Wolverine Battalion covers the “lower peninsula” of the state of Michigan, a
state known for its beautiful Great Lakes, vibrant cities, and outdoor
recreation opportunities. In most cases, it will be in your best interest to
live within the recruiting area to which you are being assigned. Given the
demanding work hours in recruiting, minimizing travel time to and from work
will allow you to spend more quality time with your family.
You
will be assigned a sponsor and receive a Welcome Packet from the Battalion.
This packet will provide you with more information about your assignment and
the area to which you are being assigned. For further information, contact the
Battalion S-1 at (517) 887-5774 or email usarmy.knox.usarec.list.5ibn-s1@army.mil
If
you have family members, it is best that they report with you to the Battalion
Headquarters located at 6500 Mercantile Way, Suite 2, Lansing, MI 48911. They
will be briefed on all aspects of medical and dental plans and coverage.
If
you don't hear from your sponsor or would like more information, please contact
the Battalion S-1 at usarmy.knox.usarec.list.5ibn-s1@army.mil
