WELCOME TO THE U.S. ARMY 2ND RECRUITING BRIGADE

On behalf of the Soldiers, Civilians, Contractors, and Families of the 2nd Recruiting Brigade, I want to welcome you to “Team Eagle”!  You can take great pride in joining the Family of the Army’s premier recruiting brigade.  If you are new to recruiting, you are embarking on what will be the most challenging yet ultimately fulfilling and rewarding assignment of your career.  If you are coming from another recruiting assignment, then get ready to take it to the next level!

Team Eagle recruits across the eight Southeastern states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. We are organized into eight recruiting battalions, 46 recruiting companies and more than 265 recruiting stations.

The Command Team and I are absolutely committed to providing the quality of life you and your Families deserve, while still accomplishing our immensely important mission.  For many of you, this assignment represents the first time you will live away from an installation environment.  While we have a number of military social events, take the time to integrate into your local civilian community.  We live in some of the most beautiful and exciting areas in the U.S.; it’s an opportunity that shouldn’t be overlooked.

While assigned to Team Eagle, you will find that you will come to represent all that is good about the All-Volunteer Force.  With that comes tremendous responsibility and great demands.  To meet these demands, we are committed to promoting an environment of open communication, implementing personal and professional development and training programs, and ultimately fostering a learning organization focused on our most precious asset…our People.  We will provide the Strength of our Army with precision, and we will do so with integrity and while maintaining a high Quality Of Life.

As you begin your travel to your new assignment within the brigade, I ask that you be safe and plan accordingly.  We want you here as part of our Team.  If you are in need of any assistance, please let the chain of command know so we can help in your transition.
