Brig. Gen. Chalone Stallworth commissioned through the Georgia State University ROTC program in 1994. She began her active-duty Army career as a Postal Platoon Leader, 516th Personnel Services Battalion (PSB), Republic of Korea.
Stallworth has served at tactical, operational, and strategic levels. As the Commander, Detachment C, 90th PSB, Kaiserslautern, Germany, she and her team were responsible for manifesting military and civilian personnel for deployment to GWOT locations. She deployed to Iraq with 1st Armored Division, in 2003 G1 Plans Officer and 2009 as the Deputy G1. After returning from Iraq, she served as the Army Strength Manager and Chief Readiness Branch, United States European Command, Stuttgart, Germany.
In 2013 she moved to Camp Red Cloud, Republic of Korea for a lieutenant colonel command selection list assignment as the 2nd Infantry Division G1.
Stallworth’s colonel CSL assignment was Director, J-1, Special Operations Command, MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, with follow-on assignments in 2019 as Special Assistant for General and Flag Officer Matters, Joint Staff, Pentagon and in 2023 as Director, Talent Alignment and Development Directorate, Army Human Resources Command.
Stallworth earned Master of Art/Science degrees at Webster University, Georgetown University, Air University, and the U.S. Army War College.
Stallworth’s military awards and decorations include Defense Superior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and Joint Service Commendation Medal.
