Lt. Col. Justin Patton commissioned as an Armor Officer from Lincoln University, Missouri in May 2005. While an Armor Officer, he was assigned to Heavy Armor units as well as, Cavalry, Infantry, Airborne, Security Forces Assistance, and Australian Defense units.
Patton served in the following leadership and staff positions: Senior U.S. Army Exchange Officer to the Australian Defense Force; Deputy Director Military Strategic Guidance and Joint Warfare Division in Canberra, Australia; Battalion Executive Officer and TAC OIC for 2nd SFAB at Fort Liberty, NC and Vicenza, Italy; Troop Commander for C-Troop, 2nd SFAB at Fort Liberty, NC; Battalion Operations Officer for 2-504 Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division; Battalion Executive Officer for 3-73rd Calvary Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division; Chief of Staff Kabul Security Forces, Kabul Afghanistan; G3-Global Response Force Coordinator, 82nd Airborne Division; Commander for Gainesville Recruiting Company, Gainesville, FL; Troop Commander, Assistant Operations Officer, and Higher Headquarters Troop Commander for 1-13th Calvary Regiment, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, TX; Tank Platoon Leader and Infantry Company Executive Officer for 1-15th Infantry Regiment, 3BDE, 3ID Fort Moore, GA.
Patton’s military education includes Resident Command and General Staff College (ILE); Resident Maneuver Career Course; Recruiting Commanders Course (Company and BN level); Security Force Assistance Advisor Course; Army Reconnaissance and Scout Leaders Course; Armor Officer Basic Course; Combatives level 1; Jumpmaster Course; Airborne, Air Assault, and Ranger Schools.
Patton holds the following degrees: Master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Southern University and a bachelor’s in business administration from Lincoln University, Jefferson City, MO.
