Lt. Col. Andy Moffit

Lt. Col. Andy Moffit is the 30th commander of the United States Army Parachute Team, known as the "Golden Knights." Andy enlisted in the Army as an airborne telecommunications technician in 1997 with an initial tour of duty at Fort Bragg, NC and later graduated from the United States Military Academy at Westpoint, NY.

Andy commissioned as an Infantry Officer where he served in 3rd Stryker Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, WA and as a Special Forces Officer in 7th Special Forces Group at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. Andy's overseas assignments include the Defense Intelligence Agency in the Republic of Korea and Special Operations Command Europe in Stuttgart Germany. Andy has multiple deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan and South America in support of overseas contingency and counter-narcotics operations.
