Soldiers assigned to the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit Service Rifle Team competed in the NRL Hunter competition, demonstrating precision marksmanship, teamwork and problem-solving while engaging unknown-distance targets under time constraints. The event provided an opportunity to refine communication, decision-making and shooting fundamentals that are carried back to the Army to strengthen Soldier lethality. Staff Sgt. Jared Desrosiers and Sgt. Dustin Carr earned a second-place finish at the NRL Hunter competition in Clinton, South Carolina, June 28, 2026. (U.S. Army video by Sgt. 1st Class Timothy Hamlin)
