Miami Beach, Fla. –
Thousands of visitors lined the shoreline Memorial Day weekend as service members from all six branches of the U.S. military took center stage during the Hyundai Air & Sea Show, held May 23–24, 2026. The free, two‑day event blended high‑energy aerial demonstrations, sea and land displays, and hands‑on exhibits designed to connect the public with the people, technology and capabilities of today’s armed forces.
Throughout the weekend, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, Guardians and Coast Guardsmen engaged directly with visitors, offering a close look at military vehicles, equipment and cutting‑edge technology. Interactive displays allowed families and attendees to explore everything from fitness stations and Army equipment to aviation assets and tactical demonstrations.
One of the weekend’s signature moments came as more than 300 future service members took their oath of enlistment in a mass ceremony on Miami Beach. Presided over by Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Ken Wilsbach, the event honored individuals committing to serving their nation and highlighted the continued importance of military readiness and public service. Additional enlistment ceremonies featured Future Soldiers stepping forward to join the U.S. Army, drawing applause from spectators who gathered to witness the milestone.
Across the beachfront exhibit areas, Soldiers met with visitors, posed for photos and answered questions about Army careers, training and opportunities. Fitness instructors demonstrated strength and conditioning exercises, inviting attendees to test their skills and learn about the Army’s focus on physical readiness. Equipment specialists also provided hands‑on explanations of the tools and technology used in modern operations.
The Hyundai Air & Sea Show once again served as a Memorial Day weekend tribute to service, sacrifice and national pride—offering the public a chance to engage with the U.S. Armed Forces while honoring those who gave their lives in defense of the nation.
