The 2nd Recruiting Brigade is proud to announce the winners of the 1st Quarter, Fiscal Year 2026 awards board. These individuals have distinguished themselves through exceptional performance, dedication, and leadership. Their achievements serve as an inspiration to us all and set a high standard of excellence within the brigade.
Please join us in congratulating the following outstanding soldiers:
- Army Reserve NCO of the Quarter: SFC Michael Bennett, Tampa Recruiting Battalion, Colonial Recruiting Station. SFC Bennett has demonstrated what it means to be a leader in the Army Reserve, and his performance is a credit to his unit and the brigade.
- Regular Army NCO of the Quarter: SSG Andy Close, Montgomery Recruiting Battalion, Rainbow City Recruiting Station. SSG Close’s hard work and commitment have set him apart as a top performer and a role model for his peers.
- Station Commander of the Quarter: SFC Austin Spinks from the 3T Baton Rouge Recruiting Battalion, 3T8B Lake Charles Recruiting Station. SFC Spinks has shown exceptional leadership in guiding his recruiting station, proving his ability to lead from the front.
- 1SG of the Quarter: 1SG Kiera Lowe, Jacksonville Recruiting Battalion, Savannah Recruiting Company. 1SG Lowe’s leadership and dedication to her soldiers and the mission have rightfully earned her this recognition.
These soldiers represent the best of the 2nd Brigade, and we are immensely proud of their accomplishments. They have set the bar high for what can be achieved through hard work and dedication.
