Louisville, Ky. (4 Sep 18) – U.S. Army Soldiers from the Louisville Recruiting Company participated in the Labor Day Worldfest Hike, Bike & Paddle event at the Waterfront Park, in Louisville, Kentucky, hosted by Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer.  Event is conducted twice a year - Memorial Day and Labor Day.

Event is part of Mayor Fischer’s efforts to get people involved and promote fitness.  Some of the activities include: Zumba, yoga, pickleball, tai-chi, standing paddle boarding, hiking, a rock climbing wall, and this year, for the first time, dogs were invited.

Louisville Recruiters had an information tent and participated in several of the fitness activities, along with Col. Eric Lopez, 3rd Recruiting Brigade Commander, local Louisville boxer, Carlos Rodriguez, and his coach, Coach Dixon (TKO Gym).

With an estimated crowd of over 10,000, Recruiters made a lot of contact and promoted the Army’s recruiting efforts.
