I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion – Los Angeles. Our mission here at “Rough Riders” is to recruit with integrity the highest quality men and women into the United States Army while taking care of all Soldiers and Family members of our command.
The U.S. Army Recruiting Battalion – Los Angeles is located in Southern California at:6337 Balboa Blvd, Encino, CA 91316. Our Battalion consists of the Battalion Headquarters, five Companies, and 19 Recruiting Centers. We cover several hundred square miles of California stretching south from the L.A./Orange County border to as far north as Santa Clarita.
Los Angeles is one of the most unique cities in the world with its diverse cultures and many activities to offer. Movie premiers, a trendy upscale nightlife, beautiful beaches and a variety of sports activities are just highlights what Los Angeles offers. Within a few miles of our Battalion is the Staples Center, home of the Los Angeles Lakers, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Malibu, Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach.
As a member of the “Rough Riders” you will face challenges, but at the same time you will be rewarded for your contributions. You must possess the drive, will, and determination that will ultimately lead you to success and the overall success of the Battalion and today’s Army.
