U.S. Army Recruiting Command inducted seven recruiting noncommissioned officers from across the command into the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club March 31 at Fort Knox.

Soldiers selected go through an extensive process where they must receive a recommendation from their command along with attending a rigorous board. Each of these NCOs are also expected to live up to the four tenets of the SAMC: loyalty, discipline, professionalism and caring.

Congratulations to the following Soldiers who were inducted:

  • Sgt. 1st Class Bradley Pascoe, U.S. Army 3rd Recruiting Brigade

  • Sgt. 1st Class Chasity Little, U.S. Army 3rd Recruiting Brigade

  • Sgt. 1st Class Kevin Bransted, U.S. Army 3rd Recruiting Brigade

  • Staff Sgt. Frank Sanchez, U.S. Army 3rd Recruiting Brigade

  • Sgt. 1st Class Steve Ramirez, U.S. Army 5th Recruiting Brigade

  • Staff Sgt. Carmen Palmer, U.S. Army Medical Recruiting Brigade

  • Sgt. 1st Class James Perez, U.S. Army Medical Recruiting Brigade

“This is recognizing excellence; you will continue to go on and lead our Army,” Maj. Gen. Johnny Davis, USAREC commanding general, said. “It’s you that the Army is investing in, and you will continue to invest in our future. Thanks for all that you do, we are so proud of you.”

USAREC initiated its Sergeant Audie Murphy Club under the guidance of Command Sgt. Maj. Roger Leturno in 2000, when the first 15 soldiers were inducted.
