U.S. Army Announces New Ad Campaign To Introduce Breadth And Depth Of Army Opportunities To New Generation

WASHINGTON — The U.S. Army just announced a new marketing campaign, "What's Your Warrior?," showcasing the breadth and depth of opportunities for today's youth to achieve their goals in America's largest military branch. The announcement was made at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Annual Meeting & Exposition in Washington, D.C.

Retired Gen. Carter Ham, president and CEO, Association of the United States Army, and Maj. Gen. Frank Muth, commanding general, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, sign a memorandum of understanding during the AUSA Conference in Washington, D.C. today. This event formalizes a partnership between the two organizations to establish a cooperative framework for outreach.

Army recruiter draws on love of Jiu Jitsu to reach community

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — In Thomasville, Georgia, a community with a small Army presence, Staff Sgt. Ralph Cajuste is making an indelible impact and concerted effort to expose local youth to the benefits of an Army career.

North Shore recruiters respond to bus driver’s emergency

Massachusetts — Capt. Carrie Haag and 1st Sgt. Charles Cotto were driving back to their company headquarters on the North Shore of Boston, Massachusetts, after a packed day of station visits, when a school transportation van suddenly pulled a hard left across the highway in front of their truck.

U.S. Army gains new pediatric radiologist

Fort Knox, Ky. — “I can’t think of a better way to serve others then by caring for the Soldiers who serve our country.” This sentiment from Dr. Janice McDaniel led to her recent commissioning as a Major into the Army Reserves. McDaniel, Director of Pediatric Interventional Radiologist at Akron Children’s Hospital, made the leap from civilian to Soldier this summer and is ready for the new challenges and opportunities working in Army medicine will afford.
