Sgt. 1st Class Stephen Christopher

Sgt. 1st Class Stephen Christopher was born in Columbus, Georgia. He graduated from Tri-County High School in 2003 before receiving a diploma in Machine Tool Technology from South Georgia Technical College in 2013. Christopher enlisted in the Army in May 2013 and shipped to Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC and then went to Fort Lee, Virginia where he completed his Advanced Individual Training as an Allied Trades Specialist. He was assigned to the U.S Army Marksmanship Custom Firearms Shop as a Machinist/Custom Firearms Technician in January 2014.  

Christopher has graduated from Master Fitness Trainer Course, Fort Benning, GA (2019), Advanced Leaders Course, Fort Lee, VA (2018) Air Assault School, Fort Benning, GA (2016), Basic Leader Course, Fort Benning, GA (2016), Welding for Gunsmiths Course, Trinidad State University, Trinidad, CO (2014), Combat Lifesaver Course, Fort Benning, GA (2014), and Close Quarters Marksmanship Course, USAMU, Fort Benning, GA (2013).   

His awards include the Army Commendation Medal (2), Army Achievement Medal (3), Army Good Conduct Medal (3), Non-Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (2), National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Air Assault Badge and the Army Superior Unit Award.
