    MISSION 
     

    The Rockstar Battalion conducts targeted recruiting operations as engaged leaders in northern Ohio and western Pennsylvania, to recruit and retain the best volunteers to be Soldiers in order to maintain the world's best Active and Reserve Army forces capable of supporting and defending the Nation. 

    VISION
     

    The Rockstar Battalion meets recruiting mission, increases unit morale and espirit d'corps, continually meets the neeeds of team members, and postures for continued recruiting success in the future.

    Soldier develops referral ribbon initiative to help Army meet recruiting goals

    Feb. 29, 2024 - Soldiers Army-wide earn rewards and recognition for referring new recruits – thanks to the personal mission of one of their own. The mastermind behind the U.S. Army Recruiting Ribbon, Master Sgt. Andra Bellamy of the Cleveland Recruiting Battalion Operations, said this initiative was a crucial step in the Soldier Referral Program.

    Ohio company commander responds to local house fire
    The actions of the New Castle Army Recruiting Company commander may have saved the home of a New Springfield, Ohio, family Aug. 15.

Capt. Erin Funkhouser was driving the backroads to the Pittsburgh Airport early that morning when she saw fire coming from the side of a house. She immediately stopped, pounded on the door to make sure the occupants were not still sleeping, and called the fire department.

    Toledo Company sets monthly mission record
    Sept. 16, 2020 - On an ordinary day in Cleveland Battalion’s Toledo Company Recruiting Station, you’ll most likely find a group of Soldiers working diligently to fulfill their mission - just as they have month after month. But August was not an ordinary month for the Toledo rockstars. For a company that often feels like the underdog, August presented them with mission numbers they had never seen before.
